Sky Transition Test

This week I've been testing some approaches to add smooth transitions to a time of day system I’m developing.
One of them involved creating some custom skies using Terragen Sky (which I'm impressed by how easy is to control and adjust clouds and atmosphere and create nice looking skies).
To keep them consistent and make the transition less obvious, I used the same seed across variations, but changed the sun position and cloud coverage.
I've done a quick mocap in Unreal blending the skies as the day progresses, in this example the HDRis just slightly rotate to add some movement, but this could be improved by using flowmaps, which I'm planning to test. Also added a simple light function to the directional light to add some cloud shadows.

The environment used is this one: https://www.fab.com/listings/11e3824c-2997-4bc6-b23c-9da56d8d0a21
